Dry Socket Treatment
A complication following an extraction, dry socket is where a blood clot becomes dislodged or disappears. The empty socket causes an ache or throbbing pain in your gum or jaw. This must be treated, and will not go away on its own.
Quick Solution, Long Term Relief
After examining the area, Dr Julia will clean the socket, alleviate any pain and preventative treatment will be discussed. Dr Julia will make sure you're as comfortable as possible and can prescribe pain medication and antibiotics for the infection.
You’ll likely have a follow-up appointment about a week after your treatment. Dr Julia will assess the affected area and discuss a treatment plan if necessary.
