Sharon is a dedicated Dry Eye Optometrist with over 20 years of experience in optics, operating two clinics across the country that specialise in advanced treatments for dry eyes.
Her clinics are equipped with the latest technology, offering holistic care that combines dry eye treatments with aesthetics. Sharon firmly believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and she is excited to provide this level of care to her patients. The Eye Retreat was one of the first clinics in the UK to offer Inmode Forma-I radiofrequency for dry eyes, alongside the revolutionary Lumecca-I.
In addition to her clinical work, Sharon is an accomplished lecturer and guest speaker. She has been invited to lecture at numerous prestigious events on dry eye management, including for the renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital Education as part of their Dry Eye Course. Sharon considers it an honour and privilege to contribute her expertise on Ocular Surface Disease (Dry Eyes) to these professional platforms.
Recently recognised with the BCLA Dry Eye Practitioner of the Year 2023 award, Sharon's passion for delivering exceptional care to patients suffering from ocular surface disease has driven her to deepen her understanding of dry eye disease's pathophysiology. She has invested in innovative diagnostic and treatment technologies while continually advancing her education in optometry to enhance her knowledge and expertise.

We take a comprehensive approach to dry eye treatment. Sharon Flora utilises advanced diagnostic tools such as Meibography, non-invasive tear break up time, InflammaDry, and Tearlab to accurately diagnose and manage dry eye disease by identifying the root cause of your symptoms.
