What happens during a FaceTite treatment?
To ensure that you are as comfortable as possible, the treatment is carried out under a local anaesthetic by one of our experienced doctors.
Once the anaesthetic has taken effect, a FaceTite probe is inserted under the skin through a cannula using small incisions. Using the power of Bipolar radio frequency energy, this energy is used to heat underneath the skin and into the fatty tissue to achieve tighter, younger skin.
What happens after FaceTite treatment?
After the treatment, small plasters are applied to the puncture sites, and no stitches are required. A face support is provided to wear for a few days following the treatment to help reduce swelling.
After three days the patient can cut down to using the compression garment just at night for the next two weeks. Swelling, which is expected, will ease over the next two to four weeks. Antibiotics may be prescribed to prevent infection.
How long does FaceTite treatment take?
The procedure takes approximately 1 hour and a half, allowing some time before and after is recommended to relax and recover.
Does FaceTite treatment hurt?
As anaesthetic is used, the treatment is fairly comfortable. You may feel some tugging as the cannula is inserted.
When will I see results from FaceTite?
FaceTite™ achieves similar results to face or neck lift surgery, but without the need for major surgery and scarring. Results can be seen immediately after only one treatment, with optimum results noticeable at 6 months which can last up to 10 years.
